Learn about the journey of Joseph Briggs, from third generation engraver in Accrington to Managing Director of the world famous company Louis C. Tiffany Studios in New York.

The children will explore how the collection came to Accrington, the links between Accrington textile industry and mosaics making in America, the different type of objects we have in our collection and the importance of both science and art in the production of Tiffany glass. Pupils will also have the chance to take part in handling collection activities and reflect on what they learnt during the session.

Cost

£2.50 per pupil

The session is a  half-day run in the morning from 10am to 11.30am, Tuesday to Thursday
