Discover the history behind Haworth Art Gallery, how the house was built, the people that lived here and how it came to be an art gallery, museum and park donated to the people of Accrington.

The children will learn, with outdoors and indoors activities, about the Arts and Crafts movement and the materials and techniques used to build the house. They explore the different rooms and discover why nature was such an important inspiration for the architecture of the place. They will also have a chance to look at our temporary exhibitions rooms and the Tiffany glass.

Cost

£2.50 per pupil

The session is a half-day run in the morning from 10am to 11.30am, Tuesday to Thursday
