Guided by a creative writing facilitator, pupils explore three pieces of art by Oldham artists which depict Ice and Fire then write and perform poetry inspired by the artwork. During this lively and interactive session, pupils build their vocabulary, complete sensory writing exercises and learn how to use literary devices. Each child is given their own writer’s notebook to keep. 

Costs

Standard workshop £100

Standard in-house workshops last 2 hours and can be booked for the morning or afternoon. Self-guided visits are free but please book in advance with the Education Assistant.
