Haworth Art Gallery

Haworth Art Gallery is Lancashire’s only public Arts & Crafts house and gardens, home to the largest public collection of Tiffany Glass in Europe.

The collection was donated by Accrington born Joseph Briggs, who after training as an engraver, immigrated to New York. He started work as an errand boy but ended up managing the word famous glass company Tiffany Studios.

The building is teaming with beautiful details inspired by nature and made with a love of materials and craftsmanship. Set in the West Pennine Moors, it was home of Cotton Manufacturer William Haworth and his sister Anne and represent the riches born from the local textile industry.

The gallery also houses a permanent collection of fine art and hosts a range of temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
