Lancaster City Museum

A school visit to Lancaster City Museum and the King’s Own Royal Regiment Museum will give your pupils the chance to step back in time.

Look in our Roman Gallery and glimpse life in Roman times with the chance to see our iconic tombstone dating back to 100AD. Whilst there, pop into the King’s Own Royal Regiment Museum and see the stories of soldiers who served in numerous wars. It’s not just bullets and bombs, explore the real nature of military service. A great educational visit for active participation and object handling!
