Discover how the museum’s art collections are the products of science, technology and creativity with local visual artist and specialised printmaker, Julia Swarbrick.

In this session your students will reproduce artwork with materials found in most kitchens, the place where art and science meet on an everyday basis! They will learn how lithography is a traditional and modern means of printmaking, used in books, maps and posters and discover early lithographs in our collection. This session is suitable for KS1 – KS2 and can be altered to fit your needs.
