British Textile Biennial 2025

British Textile Biennial 2025 – FREE visit and workshop for KS2 classes!

We’re pleased to announce we are offering FREE visits for KS2 pupils to BTB25. Pupils will see the Biennial work on display at a participating venue and take inspiration from the exhibition to create their very own piece in an artist led workshop!

All visits will take place during October 2025, please register your school’s interest by 6th June 2025 by contacting Elaine.lees@blackburn.gov.uk specifying your preferred Biennial venue to visit from. We will then contact you with further details.

Venues include:

  • Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery
  • Haworth Art Gallery, Accrington
  • Queen Street Textile Mill, Burnley
  • The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery, Rawtenstall
  • Towneley Hall, Burnley
  • Turton Tower, Turton, nr Bolton

Be quick – There are only 12 free visits/workshops available initially!

Please note: Your school should be within one of the six districts of Pennine Lancashire – Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Ribble Valley or Rossendale. We would particularly welcome interest from primary schools in Burnley or Pendle as these areas have been underrepresented in previous years.
